Description

Using grapes from its vineyards in Vayots Dzor, Old Bridge’s Areni Reserve red wine is fermented in steel tanks and aged in Armenian oak barrels for 2 years. This wine won a Gold Medal at the prestigious Mundus Vini International Wine Competition held annually in Neustadt Germany.

The 2015 Old Bridge Areni Reserve has a full-bodied dark red color. The nose reveals aromas of various wild flowers and tart cherry notes. On the palate, dark cherry and cranberry fruit flavors are complimented by a smoky, gamy character with pronounced coffee, leather and tobacco notes. Well balanced between silky tannins and high acidity, the wine ends with a captivating long and pleasant finish.
