Description

La Divine is a once a decade special cuvée from Hin Areni. Winemaker Didier Cornillon nurtured every aspect of this wine from harvest through fermentation and it’s extended egging in Armenian oak barrels. Didier feels it is the greatest wine he has ever made; delicious, complex and age-worthy.

The 2017 is a dark crimson color, lightening to violet at the rim. The nose opens to sweet vanilla oak complemented by herbal/floral elements. Sweet cherry fruit and a nice acidic backbone on the palate. As the wine opens, the oak continues to frame the pomegranate and cranberry fruit flavors. Perfect for drinking now, this wine should continue to evolve for another 7-10 years.
